Volunteers

All of the work that goes on to keep the Kenton Theatre running smoothly is undertaken by volunteers, some giving a few hours once in a while and others giving a lot.

If you would like to take an active role you might consider offering help in one of the following ways:

Front of House - involves meeting and greeting patrons, selling programmes, helping with interval coffee & ice-cream sales and being in attendance during the performance.

Licensed Bar - involves serving drinks from the licensed bar in the foyer before the performance and during the interval.

Box Office - open for six hours daily Monday to Friday and three hours on Saturday mornings, as well as evenings when there is a performance. Daytime shifts are two hours each, on a day and at a time of your choice.

Backstage - involves technicians in lighting, sound and stage management for both daytime and evening work.
