Kenton AmbassadorsAt the Kenton Keepers Club Launch party we were joined by local celebrities, friends, volunteers, residents and lovers of the Kenton and the arts, with one passion - to make sure the KENTON is for KEEPS.
The poem below was written and read at the launch by a couple who helped re-open The Kenton in 1967, the passion is still there today -
It's a darling little theatre
We have here in our town
And those who know and love her
Must never let her down.
To ensure we keep the Kenton
We have to buy the land
And that is why we're bent on
Getting YOU to join our band.
Kenton Keepers is our name
Support us from the start
Kenton for Keeps is our aim
