HISTORY

The Kenton Theatre is the fourth oldest working theatre in the country and is staffed entirely by volunteers. Once again we find the theatre badly in need of considerable funds in order to comply with today's strict health and safety requirements and you can help by simply coming regularly to see live shows, or the extensive range of films shown.

Avoid the crush, order your interval drinks from the bar or coffee bar before the  performance commences

Free evening parking in Kings Road car park only FIVE MINUTES WALK FROM THEATRE

Wheelchair access and disabled toilets

The Kenton Theatre is now a totally non smoking venue

Theatre tokens are available to purchase from the Box Office

Coffee Mornings in the Foyer every Saturday Morning  11.00am - 1.00pm

On 7th November 2005, the Theatre celebrated it's 200th Birthday! Please click onto the Bicentenary Link on the top of this page for details regarding this historic occasion

FRIENDS OF THE KENTON THEATRE

The Friends' organisation is a body of volunteers who exist to welcome, cherish and support all who manage and perform at the Kenton Theatre. We do this by publicising the productions, seeking out ways to help the Theatre Management and raising funds to help maintain and improve the theatre throughout. For further details click here
