The competition was won by Laureen
Williamson for her play "After all these years" the First
Prize, presented by John Luker, Chairman of the Henley Standard,
was a cheque for £250.

Runner-up was Jill Yates with her play
"The Septuagenarian" prize of £150 - and in third place
was Gillian Campbell with "An Inconvenience" prize of £100. |

Chairman of Judges was well-known Film
and Television Director Simon Langton. Other judges were Margot
Thomas, Stage and Television actress, John Luker, Bill Port and Mary
Scriven Arts and Entertainments Editor of the Henley Standard. |

There was a full house to cheer for
the plays and the atmosphere in the theatre was terrific. Many
