On a warm summers evening, in the grounds of
Phyllis Court Club, Simon Williams joined fellow guests, who all
share the same passion, the refurbishment of the Kenton Theatre. The
Bicentenary Ball was a final to a year of celebrations and raised
over £8,500 from donations, sponsorship, a raffle and auction. The
money will go towards the stage and storage refurbishment project.
It was a great evening where old friends met new, relaxed over a
glass of Pimms, before a three course dinner. And following the
Auction, with pockets a little lighter, danced the night away to the
fantastic Moulin Rouge Band.
